Chris is the Director and Principal Designer of Construct Drafting Services. With over 30 years experience in the construction industry, Chris started from a trade background as a carpenter, progressing into the role of architectural designer/technician.

Having gained valuable experience working in both architectural and structural design offices over a number of years, Chris formed his practice in 2009, focusing mainly on residential projects from new homes to additions and alterations. A versatile and detailed designer, Chris could work from a client’s simple sketch plans or churn up a proposal within his custom design service.

Chris, a member of the Design Association of New Zealand Inc, runs his practice as a Christchurch-based architectural design and drafting company, which has over the years been privileged to help many Cantabrians (and those in other regions) make their building dreams become a reality.

Chris is a key member in all of The White Franj-i-panni’s architectural projects, engaging in detailed designs, and ensuring that all designs and specifications are tight, relevant and neat to comply to building codes here in New Zealand.  He sharply picks up areas that require detailed attention while keeping a close eye on the overall design intention.  Chris is a joy to work with for his good nature amidst his conscientious and meticulous approach to work.

Together with Green Giant Gardens, The White Franj-i-panni has been providing a one-stop Design-and-Build (or rather, Design-and-Plant) services for clients who wished so.  It is a joy working with, and learning from Nathan.

JERMAINE NG

----------------------------

A self-proclaimed ‘builder’, Jermaine Ng loves getting her hands on anything and everything, beautifying them wherever she goes. Growing up with a strong passion for fine arts and sculpture, Jermaine received her Bachelor of Architecture degree at NUS in 1996. Starting her own practice 14 years ago, Jermaine founded the interior building firm Seven Heaven Pte Ltd, and continues making her mark in the building industry.

Inspired by the naturalistic ideals of Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, deconstructionist American Jewish architect Daniel Libeskind, and the expression of Zaha Hadid’s masculine metaphor, Jermaine takes great pride in transforming individual living spaces with vivid expressions of sensuality and craftsmanship.

No less than 500 Singapore building projects in have been ‘touched’ by Jermaine in the span of 15 years. Just to name a few, the homes of Melissa Hyak (Channel News Asia co-anchor), as well as Adrian Pang (actor, host and singer) were in her care from design to construction. Numerous commercial projects were also designed and built by her, namely: ‘Simply Yoga’ at Katong V, ‘The Denim Store’ at Mandarin Gallery, ‘The Skin Pharmacy’ at City Square Mall, ‘Toca Me’ bar at Club Street, and ‘Wine Hermitage’ at Marina Boulevard.

Her residential projects have been featured in numerous local interior magazines for their avant garde spatial treatments, mastery touches in finishing, and ground-breaking ideas on living spaces.

Jermaine is planning a collaboration with The White Franj-i-panni for the design and production of furniture and crafts in New Zealand.  A collaboration for interior designs in Singapore is also in the pipeline.
